Presentation for Snow-Camp

On Monday 16th July we were delighted to give a presentation to a group of Snow-Camp apprentices and previous apprentices.

Lucy Chadburn the London Programme Manager for Snow-Camp wrote the following;

"A massive thank you to Carla and Kevin for running such a great session on Monday".

"There was so much value in what was delivered and what came out of the session. In such a short space of time you enabled our young people to really engage with their emotions and start to understand themselves and help put themselves back in the driving seat of their feelings/thoughts as well as providing a safe space for them to talk openly and reflect".

"Although  one or two young people were not ready to engage fully at this point in their journey, I do believe you have planted seeds that we can build on either at Snow-Camp or though future sessions with yourself".

Below are some of the words that were exchanged by the young people when asked to sum up how they felt/how the session went;

Anxious, yet acknowledged.

Content.

Excited about the bubbles!

Incomplete-what's next?!

Hopeful.

Open minded.

Grateful.

Enjoyed.

Informative.

Snow-Camp's mission is to engage inner-city young people through snowsports to provide life skills training, nationally recognised qualifications and work experience to increase motivations and aspirations, enabling them to gain employment in the snow-sports industry and beyond.
